Guest guest
At last I had another Mri a week ago Monday and got the results on tuesday a week later. The reading showed no change from the last in Aug. That does not explain why I have been running and almost falling down. I don't think they scaned in the neck area at all. Well that is that. Next I will try to slow down on my working. Work at a greenhouse lasts only a short time but someone must check it out daily. (leave it to dumb old , he will do it) Yea right now it is time to rest. Let someone else take over. I'm wore out. BEANS
Guest guest
I had an MRI with Dr. Zinaman a few weeks ago. The tube is open at both ends. You need to lie completely still..that is the hardest part. It does not hurt at all...and it did take about 45 mins. The noise is very deafening...they let you know when it will be starting and stopping...it will run for like 5 mins. and then they will stop and start up again. As far as " with contrast " ...they insert a needle in your arm and shoot some dye in and then take more pics. In hindsight...it was not bad...I think the fear of not knowing what to expect is the worst of it. One suggestion I do have for you is this....after my MRI was over...they told me that he would have the results in two days...so...I waited to hear from him. Well, I did not hear from him and finally called to find out that at his office they did not even know I had it done...so I guess I was supposed to alert them. So...my advice to you is to call his office once the procedure is over so that they have a head's up that the MRI results will be coming. After I had the MRI...he then scheduled me for a sonahistogram. So...be ready for yet another test. This was done out of his office in La Grange. I have now been to each of his offices...in Oakbrook Terrace and Maywood. He is a really nice guy and does take a lot of time with you. I hope all goes well with you...and...if you want anymore info...just ask. Debbi
