" Rogam " is the Ortho products name....other companies have different names for

their Rh-Immune Globbulin.(Like COKE for Immucor, Inc.(Norcross,GA) use to

market a thimerosal free product called Rhesonativ.(17 years ago they recognized

the need to provide a mercury-free product) It was a lypholized product with 36

mo. shelf life but many hospitals & doctors offices thought it was a bit

cumbersome to reconstitute before injecting. I don't know if they still

distribute it, but there are probably other products that are thimerosal

free...just seek them out!

Tell her to look into the huge connection between the Rhogam shot

and autism. From what I hear, they have a thimerosal-free Rhogam

shot.

if there is anything she can do for herself at this

My son had 3 rhogam shots in a row to clear up a stubborn ear

infection. They didn't work and we had tubes put in. He shows no

signs of problems like his sister had. I didn't know that mercury is

in that stuff. Why didn't my ped. tell me? What do you do for that

type of exposure?

Are you sure you are not thinking about rocephin? I was a pediatric

nurse, and that is what they use for ear infections. I think they must

have given him rocephin because I have never ever seen rhogam given for

ear infections. Kristy
