Yesterday bit the big one

hey guys....

I went out in the gross, snowy, icy storm yesterday and had my

MRI..well I WENT to my MRI..I couldnt find a comfortable position

that was good for the technician soooooo they took what they could

and I may or may not have to return if they cant read the pictures. I

went and saw Ginny (which btw was about the only positive part of the

day) then went back out into the nasty weather to see the Dr at the

pain clinic...SUPPOSEDLY the office had tried to reach me to tell me

that apparently I was to only see the DR and not his NP's and he is

on VACATION!! I lost it and cried having put up with the pain and

burning and general feeling of caca for too long so they suggested I

call my primary and get something from him saying that as long as he

faxed notes and script info that they would be happy..soooooo I went

back to Ginny's (it was either that or drive 90 on snow covered

highways until I outran the pain and my frustration) I drove home

after going about 25 on a white knuckleride home to see my dr who

finally gave me duragesic patches AFTER all but telling me he didnt

want me getting too used to them as he was going to be taking them

back after 30 days fortunately my pain dr will be back by then! I

have never asked him for pain coverage before so I dont get the

attitude but I adore him and will forgive him since he gave the

patches to me..he wanted to give me vicodan but I told him I already

tried that...it wasnt working.....oh ya BTW that rash we all seem to

have....its STRESS..nothing more!! funny, I have had stress

rashes...it goes away this has not it has gotten worse!!!!!

anyway....for all my tears and anger I am feeling better today, he

gave me 25mg duragesic patches and for the first time in awhile Im at

least fairly comfortable...not completely pain free but its very

tolerable and at a point where I can deal until my dr returns. Now if

we can just get rid of the rash I'd be very content!

Anyway, thats my day in a nutshell!!!

Hope everyone has a great day today..I have to make up some hrs at

work today and then we are going out tonight for a few hrs...my

daughter is doing her 1st babysitting job with my inlaws

downstairs..my friends are in from VA and their 8 yr old son is going

to be watched by LOL..she has already stated she wants big $

to entertain him!!

Thank you all for letting me explain to those who can relate to my

frustration of yesterdays fiasco...and Ginny THANK YOU for just being

there! Without you yesterday Im sure it would have been a far worse

day with bad choices and dangerous temperment! Love you hon!
