Guest guest
Hi all, Have a couple of questions. I was thinking of ordering xylitol as a sugar substitute as to me, it seems to be the safest one next to Stevia - and reportedly tastes better (here's the website I was thinking of ordering it from as it has the 'good' xylitol: http://www.globalsweet.com/index.html (and no I'm not trying to sell the stuff - never actually heard of it until my health food store recommended it today but I don't want their brand - lol) Anyway, anyone tried it? Anyone heard anything " bad " about it? I actually heard stevia can lower BS but the aftertaste is yucky IMO. I don't use much sweetener - just a little on my hot cereal in the a.m. Also, anyone heard that green teat is not good for diabetics? I just started liking tea (found a great herb one for blood sugar control that tastes very good and I hate tea - lol) but wanted to drink green tea for it's health benefits. BUT when speaking to an oriental person from a website (who I had trouble understanding), she said green tea was not for diabetics. Anyone? ~Sandy
