This is the newsletter for a new diabetic friendly shop that's opening

up in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. I thought some of you might be

interested. I got permission to post it (from the shop - Rick, if it's a

problem, let me know).

Welcome to the Inaugural Issue of the Diabetic Delights Newsletter!

A totally new shopping experience for Diabetics and Sugar-Free

We hope this newsletter will enlighten you, inform you and entertain you.

*While we are open now; our Grand Opening Celebration is set for

November 30^th at 12 noon. Please plan on joining us to celebrate!*

If you haven’t been in our store yet; here is some information about us.

If you have been in *_THANK YOU!_* We hope you will continue to visit

and see the new items arriving.

You’ll find a variety of foods, candies, cake mixes, cookies, dressings,

jams and jellies and so much more for your pantry!

You will also find *Medical Alert jewelry* that is stylish and something

you’ll be proud of. We even have different types of Medical Alert

jewelry to fit every mood or activity. We have Men’s, Women’s and

Children’s jewelry too.

We have our library. There are many books to choose from. We have a

variety of *Cookbooks* *and informational books*. Many of these books

are from the American Diabetes Association that you can’t find anywhere

else!

Looking for special *Diabetic shoes and socks*? We have those too!

Choose from several different styles of shoes to comfort those tired

toes. There is an assortment of sock sizes from small to Extra Large.

Looking for that special *diet drink*? We carry a large selection of

drinks too. You can buy a can or a case. You can choose something cold

from our cooler or a liter to take home to the family.

Can’t find *over the* *counter medication* for your cold? We have cold

and cough medications that are alcohol and sugar free. Cough drops,

vitamins and even toothpaste – all sugar free!

We stock several types of *meters and strips* to choose from.

We even have a variety of *insulin cases and protectors *for those who

need them. Traveling? We have insulin coolers that last for 16 hours!

Come in and check them out!

Know a Diabetic, or someone that doesn’t eat sugar? We have *gift

baskets *for them! There are ready made baskets for pie baking,

spaghetti dinner and more!

We can even custom make a basket for that special person for you too!

Remember (like you really need reminding!) the holidays are coming up

and we diabetics need to be especially careful with our diets. Stop in

and get what you need to stay on track! We have cookies, candies, cake

mixes and other goodies that you can have while staying on your plan. No

reason not to enjoy your holidays.

Thanksgiving is coming up very quickly – we have Steel’s *Spiced

Cranberry Sauce* for the Turkey!

Our own Chef! That’s right, Diabetic Delights, LLC, will have pre-made

meals by Chef J. He is also a Type 2 Diabetic and he has been an

Executive Chef for over 15 years. He makes natural, organic (when

possible) Heart and Diabetic Friendly meals. We will have them in our

freezer for you. We’ll tell you more about him in the next newsletter.

He will also be conducting classes too!
