- Re RSD going away?

There are some folks who have had RSD gone into remission.....even a long remission. There are some who have had it go away.....Most of these folks are people who were diagnosed and treated early. Even, still there a handful of folks that I have heard about who, after having RSD for years, now claim that they are cured. What is clear is that no one knows for sure about all of this and may not in our lifetimes.

Re you "TOLD HER TO TELL ME THE TRUTH. SHE RAN THE WHOLE THING DOWN TO ME, BUT SHE TOLD ME AT A POINT WHERE I THOUGHT THE RSD WAS GOING TO GO AWAY. EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR , THAT MOMENT STARTED ME THINKING OF THE LONGEVITY OF THE DISEASE. IT TOOK ANOTHER LIKE 6 YEARS FOR IT TO SINK IN!!!! Hon, it took me 13 years to take in the breadth of how all of this would ultimately impact my life. I'm still taking it in and trying to find what to accept and what to say "pfffff" to. What I have realized is that it's important to make sure that you do say "pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff" to some of what you believe about it, read about it, and hear about it. No one knows anything for certain about this. Most important...Hope, creativity, and patience are critical.. Learning how to say "I can do

this but maybe I'm going to have to get creative at how I approach this task. I might have to be patient enough to know that it will just take longer for me to do it." Might even have to ask for some support or an extra hand sometimes for a little support.

Does that mean that we aren't going to experience loss? Nope. We will have losses and parts of our life may start looking a little different to us. I genuinely believe and have a need to believe that our spirit plays an important role in all of that. Hugs - Barbara Echols wrote:
