I had one of the best surgeons (reproductive endocrinologists) in Chicago. Have you called your medical group to discuss this with them? Have you also considered maybe switching medical groups within the HMO system to one that has an RE in it. This can be done. I just did it to switch my OB. I have to wait until June 1st for it to be effective. But it is possible. , do what ever you have to do to get the care you deserve. You can work within the HMO system and make it work for you. I am sorry but I don't know where you reside or if you have Blue cross blue shield. If you have BCBS let me know and I can help you out with some ideas. I hope this all works out for you. I love my PCP when I see her the problem is not with her she willing to do anything it with her staff and the obgyn. They have a group of 4 obgyn. DR chung who I was seeing Left to go to other practice in the same group just different office in Boston. DR worble who said she would not do any thing until I did depo. I flat out will not do. DR Shaw I saw him when I was 16 and hated him. DR Fritz dose ob only and au never liked her as she flat on the Hysto bord Then You could switch office but yet again. I rely want to choice someone who know what there doing. I had two resection with DR Chung. The second one she used too much fluid/she was running late/the anstiolgist told me he just been switched to me. Then he said that the room I was going into was not quite ready but they were using it any ways. He could not get the iv going took him 3 sticks. She lost my connect from ( ect). My faviort words spoken by her was " don't worry I rush it' in and out in less than an hour. respond to the anstiogist it five lock on a Friday afternoon let hurry this up. Then when i woke up and was in a lot of pain and acted funny They all blamed me. " made it a very long night for her'' and her next option was a referral out and stop " guessing " well i went back to her and that never happened what did happen was a merrina that cramped for 7 days made me feel nauseous and moody gain 5 lb. in 7 days. and ejected it self. In steed of a referral out I got another obgyn who said lets wait and see or do depo. Wait and see crashed and burned when I land up in the ER need blood trasfutions from amimia. Shortness of berth, chest pain, rapid heart beat, dizzy, nausea, bad stumic cramps bleeding all over my self. I have my mental cycle on adage 14-18 days and spot 3 days inbeween heavy for about 9 to 12 of those days passing huge clots. When I show my mestral chest to my PCP her reaction was OMG i never knew you were having a mestral cycle for that long you poor thing. How ever in my HMO it turns out that she cant be the one who dose the referral I have to go to the obgyn because they deal with this problem. That brings me back to the 4 Drs. DR chung (srewed up once) DR worble ( depo only) DR Shaw (who never touching me as long as he or I live) DR Fretz ( Hyto only). I really dot have the time to go to all the obgyn in the system to find one who will and can know what there doing. This wait and see know has me scared. While I sure I am low and take huge dose of iron. There gets to a point were your body cant keep up with this. DR Stwarawd has a great reputation and know what she doing. unfounitly my appoint is not until June 21 and I did get that referral. I know DR chung messed up. She was a very nice DR with great bed side manor. Very sweet and kind but also out of school less then 10 years not board certified. I know if I were to bring mal practice suit against her at this point in her creeere she be runined. I very much just want to move past this and get it fixed.
