Hair test of my son - 4yrs, looking for Andy's and group's advice.

Hello Minh,

Your poor son's hair looks like he has a lot too much mercury and

probably lead around. See www.earthlink.net/~moriam and look for how

to interpret a hair test for an explanation of why 6 red zone results

in the essential elements suggests mercury problems.

DMSA and ALA given in small amounts (like 10 mg) every 3 hours during

the day and 4 while asleep for 3 days should help a lot.

The vitamins work a lot better if they are given 3 or 4 times a day

than once or twice.

Try to figure out where he is getting the lead and make sure he doesn't

get any more.

Hello Andy,

Thank you for your instruction and help. I got my water at home for

analysis yesterday . I'll fight for my son's future. We also applying

ABA to teach him.

By the way, should I give him DMSA and ALA at the same time ? Or only

seperately DMSA for the first 3 or 4 months. After that adding ALA.?

As you susgested, the course of treatment DMASA and ALA will be 3 days on

and how many days will be off?

Thank you for your answer and help. Such advice we will nerver forget.

Best regards,

Consider removing sources of current exposures

Add [or consider increasing] magnesium and zinc.

This is fine.

This is fine too. This is somewhat more conservative.

4 to 11, depending on his tolerance. After a year or so you might

consider 3 days per month if his progress is slow and the mercury seems

to be adequately cleared - with lead you have to chelate 3 years or

more to get the bones cleaned out but you don't have to do it

vigorously. You'll have to see how things are in a year or two.
