Guest guest
Lynn Another case of the double whammy! Hope it goes well on Jan 12. Will be thinking of you. I discovered my breast cancer in July 2002 a year after my diabetes was diagnosed. As I live alone I chose to have a mastectomy and no chemo or radiation - I knew I could not cope with a 45 minute drive each way for treatment. My recovery / survivorship has been uneventful. Guest guest
Hi Bea, Thanks for thinking of me on Jan. 12. I went for the pre-admission testing today so things are getting put in place. You are doing great! Yes, I chose mastectomy and no reconstruction too. I am having chemo. My hospital is only 30 mins. away. I chose it because the other one is 45 mins. like yours. It is a long haul. I agree. And, you are apparently doing fine! I'm very glad your recovery and survivorship have been uneventful. I hope for the same. Lynn Lynn Another case of the double whammy!
