You can probably refill them only once a month, though. You should call

his office and explain to the nurse why you want a prescription for

more strips, and they will tell the doctor. He will hopefully have them

call in a new prescription to your drugstore. It's a long time until

I told my doc to prescribe me 12 strips per day, and she did. But my

insurance company won't pay for a refill until the last batch is gone,

according to the 12 strips per day formula. So if I test more often

and run out, I have to pay for the next batch out of my pocket.
