Guest guest
Hey Donna - at least you got out to see the "new world". Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a snow boot problem... I have found a neat solution to the cold hands in the house all the time....actually it was Andy, everyone calls him MacIver up here..he bought me a pair of coushy mitts and a pair of mini stretch gloves...the gloves for typing on the computer, and housework, because they won't do as good of a job of keeping your hands warm, and mitts for the rest of the time - mitts will keep your hands warm because the body heat something or other...but he's right. If mine are already cold, I just put them in hot water for a couple minutes to heat them up and the into the mitts and they'll stay warm for quite a while afterwards. It probably wasn't a new solution to anybody else, but it was new to me. As far as the typing speed with gloves, after a couple of hours, my speed was almost up to my old speed. I agree that you shouldn't have gone to work today, the fact that WC has to pay for days you can't work - justice finally for someone. Think of all the people that are getting screwed by WC that are genuinely in need of services from them, yeah Donna - put your feet up and enjoy the days wages!!! I am very happy to hear that at least you don't have to fight for what is right in your case, but I'm sure at some point you did, and I'm also sure it was a battle that was uphill for you. Well, have a good day - I will too - my grandkids, the 2 oldest are coming to visit, that ought to wear me out for the next couple of days at least. But well worth it. Talk to you soon, FayeDonna wrote: Hiya FayeI did manage to get out today and venture to the store and the bank. at LOL.I probably could have gone into work today but NAH..workers comp pays for the hrs Im not at work so they can pay for today,
