Hi ,

I already know that sugar alcohols raise my BS so I'm not going to try it.

Well, I did actually use a tiny bit (like 1/4 tsp) this a.m. and my reading

was 111 2 hrs post breakfast which was a rise from 81 when I got up

(normally after this particular breakfast it is lower or the same). I don't

know if this tiny amount could have made the difference or not, but I don't

think I'll be using it!

Sandy,

All those " sugar-alcohols " may or may not cause bg to rise in " your body " .

I'd suggest that you give the " erythritol " a try in a controlled experiment

with that as the only variable. Your meter will tell you how " your body "

responds to that particular food product.
