Guest guest
Adam has an intramedullary ependymoma which is not growing (knock on wood). However, it developed a cyst which is growing, and that may force us to tackle this tumor/cyst. I thought it would be a simple aspiration, but apparently not. Guest guest
I don't know about the ependymona, but I know Jackler has written that it is useless to aspirate an NF2 cyst. When my AN turned cystic, the doctor in Pittsburgh wanted to aspirate it, and I remembered what Jackler had said. I wrote and he confirmed it. I went to HEI where they cut off the end of the cyst; it came back to their amazement, so you know aspiration would not have done anything. marie Tumor Cysts Adam has an intramedullary ependymoma which is not growing (knock on wood).
