Guest guest Posted February 25, 2003 Report Share Posted February 25, 2003 it is probably like the roadcrew list, we discuss travel plans, cant here or you'd get 200 extra mail a day. but since the planning of vegas is over i bet theyd share the details if we asked, that is if they want us to consider going next year :-) just the clean details please, no sordid stories, not that there are any .... all it is is a list of email addresses of attendees, not a yahoo group at all. why did it go that way? several are not a part of the crew right now or weren't during planning stages, and was much much easier for Pat and I to do headcounnts and keep track of things. Many are still not active members of the crew and have chosen to send notes just to the email adresses they had prior to going to vegas. IIn no way is any of us "Hiding" or trying to not share. I have not written much yet, I got home Sunday night, had an exam at 8 am Monday morning then class today, I'm still recvering from the weekend. I always enjoy hearing about it, even if I haven't been able to go. Why the separate list? Thought we were all one Crew. Carol NF2con 2003 Some of you might be wondering why there hasn't been very much said about our recent Las Vegas weekend on here. There has been much said, but this has been going on via a list that was created of those actually attending. I mentioned we should share them with the entire Crew, perhaps gain more "attendees" next year after ppl see the positive experience it is being with other nf2ers. I guess the list being used was one just set up by Caren a while back when she was giving us details about the how and where, etc. . I'd like to forward on things said recently, but I don't have them anymore. Does anyone else? I think the Roadcrew kind of happened the same way, but it is always open for anyone who would like to read /share the mail. We are hoping to plan a cruise for August, so if you are interested, join in. Like all the others have noted, the movie was great and the chance to sit in a theatre and munch on popcorn was wonderful. Sorry Danny and I did not make the Olive Garden dinner. Danny started feeling sick Saturday afternoon. And by the time we got him back to the hotel and to bed, it was too late for me to join the group. Hope you had a great time. It was wonderful to see the folks that I had not seen in years (Pat, Gail, Marilyn, Bobby, Carla , Ira, , etc), as well as to see the folks that I was lucky enough to travel with to OZ in June (, Cathy, Jimmy, Jeff, na, Greg, Jeanette, all the folks from Canada, etc) and to meet and greet all the new folks (Caren, , , Mike , I could go on for days). I talked to Gail on Sunday morning and she said she would e-mail me some pictures. Anyone else that would be so kind, I would appreciate it. I got some pics of NewYork NewYork. the Venetian and Paris. Iif anyone wants I can email them to you.
