Dear Group,

When Faye asked for my professional input I told her I did not want

this brought up. It is very clear that 100 percent on the medication have

secondary mood disorders occur, including depression, weight gain,

suicidal ideation, and memory loss. I am not going to kick anyone

when down.

I am against the manufacturer for LYING and committing FRAUD

to make billions on those like you with RSD who are so desperate to

kill the pain, and whose physicians believed shoddy salesmen and

further hurt their patients.

You're at risk for rebound seizures that can cause death, the list goes

on and on. ONE life lost is too many.

I asked Faye not TO REQUEST my topic literature I HAVE PILES OF IT,

for this reason alone. So many have NO OPTIONS other than this.

I've been on Neurontin at differing doses for just shy of 3 years. I, too, had the side effects in the beginning, but my doc increased it slowly always starting with the increases at night. All in all though, it has helped with my burning. I didn't think so at one point, so we started decreasing it. I knew then that it really was working.

Okay so we're now up to 4 cents-------anyone else???????

I guess I'm going to be different and not fit the mold.

I was depressed before I started Neurontin so no clue if it caused any.

I've lost 40 pounds

So far, no suicidal ideation

My memory loss (short term memory) could be from any of the meds I'm on or from the RSD itself.

btw yall since you know i was taken off neorontin COLD TURKEY at 5400 mg.. i when i started taken it never had one side effect not one it was like i wasnt taken it at all.. i am a depression person adn this didnt make anymore depressed than any 21 yr odl finding out seh has a condition thats possiable permant.. I DID NOT even think about suicide when on this med.. that cam later.. HOWEVER i did get sick when i went cold turkey but in no way did i experiance any seizures in any sort.. BTW reason why i am so upset is cuz NEUROTIN save my sisters life when i was unable too do anythign other than chase my tail.. so you knwo what back off please.. cuz i am have tempted to well you dont want to know.. but i have a real interest in why you think everyong should hate this drug.. whne i watch first hand it save my sisters life.. im sorry.. but yall everyont thats why i have been on a rampage about the emails.. i knwo i prolly should have told you earlier its just something i dont like to think about to much and well i dunno just thought i should tell ya so you dont think i am a raging hormonale alpha b!tch ya know

O.k. This is my final post to you or about you - I too have a life and a family that has been put on hold.... and now, you have made me upset because you have upset one of my best friends - who should really be peppering her toast.

FOR THE RECORD... I asked your personal opinion, not your perfesional one. I did not recieve either one.

It is not very clear that 100% of people on this drug have secondary mood disorders, including depression [i am on no anti-depressants], weight gain [i weight maybe 100 pounds], suicidal ideation [only ever thought came close was when I was NOT on it], memory loss [moderate brain injury accounts for that]

You can have your personal opinion 100% just like every one else here - and I believe that 100%.

The only risk for rebound seizures is if you cold turkey come off the drug - and that is a risk not a guarantee.

G. I have been on neurontin for 9 months now. I did gain 20 lbs in the beginning but I was also on high doses of prednisone too when i began neurontin. I did not get depressed from this med. I also never had suicial idealizations. Nothing is 100%...you can never say all or no one have side effects from any medication. Being a nurse you must know this. All medication has risks....even baby asperin and tylenol. Even herbal remadies have risks. To accuse a manufacturer of lying and fraudulant behavior is an opinion....it is your opinion. I know that i have had alot of benefits from taking neurontin...and the risks are lower then the benefits I am recieving. There are lives lost because of drug alleries, med overdoses, and rare disorders like SJS from taking meds everyday. I know I am allergic to meds that others aren't and vice versa. When giving a professional opion you need to state facts and

must be unbiased....when givng a personal opion you can say whatever you feel..You need to realize the diffenerence and not confuse the 2.
