Guest guest
I'm a middle aged (50) feminist, and I object to the title, too. But that's what it was on my Mom's recipe card, and in the newspaper when she tore it out in the 60s. So I was quoting! My mother signed her name as Mrs. R. K. Roosa until I went off to college and came back as a feminist and convinced her to stop! Very few women under 50 still sign their names like that. On the other hand, my friend's mother still signs herself as Mrs. [husband's name] for 30 years after her husband died. Thank god things HAVE changed. In a fit of romanticism, I changed my name when I married. I took my name back later and I would never dream of changing it again! > Being an old feminist, I truly object to the recipe's name.
