Luckily, my parents live near the Cleveland Clinic to be able to tkae care of us both. My husband went back to work in Columbus. I had a rough recovery with meningitis and then I had to have my gall bladder removed. didn't forget I was her mother. I do have a tendency to spoil her to try to make up for that time. It will all work out. I had Dr Lee once.Hes a great guy,I love him:).

I had to go to the CC ER for swollen optical nerves ,that was like 1995.Some old Quack was looking at me,told me I'd be going blind.Dr Lee stepped in.Removed 15 percent of the tumor, yes eyes got worse, but I can still see.

Great Guy Dr.Lee

I dont go to CC anymore,I got my first

Death sentence from a Dr there, decided to move on.

I had Dr. Lee too!! He removed my brain tumor. He was the first surgeon I saw that said he could do it and didn't sound as if I would die. He didn't play games either. I loved that. He actually got out all the tumor and from what I was told I was only in there for about 9 hours.

Hope this helps!!

Hello Everyone,

I am currently being treated for my RSD at St. Joesph Hosp. in

, Tx. My employer is wanting to me go to the Cleveland Clinic

in Ohio for further treatment. My question is, do you think it is

worth the trip to travel that distance for treatment?

Thanks...

- I don't know anything about the Cleveland Clinic but I hope that someone else in the group might be able to help you out. Have you checked their website? Barbaracharleswhouston wrote:

I do not have answer about the clinic but have question about where you live and where you might of worked....did you work at A & M ? My daughter graduated from there and I was born and raised in TX so always liked A & M and the fun rivalary with University of TX. Hope okay to ask this of you.. And one other thing, my daughter lives in Houston and has dealt with RSD for 8 years now and has great doctors. So you may want to go to Houston and not so far away. Think you would find great help in Houston and can give you some names, etc. Just let me know. Take care

Hi sorry I didn't see this post earlier. I have been to cleveland

clinic. When I went there I was told because I was going through

lidicatation there was nothing that they could do. I was put on 3

different medications and when I got the next refill I endup in the

hosipital. I also had a hard time getting my med's filled.

The only thing I could say is try it and see. It didn't work for me.

Plan on spending a couple of days. They will evluate you one day and

try to get you into the phycoligest the next couple of days. There

are hotel's there but they can be expencive. I was there for 4 days

and the first night I stayed at the guest house hotel right across

from the hosipatil. I had to pay for parking. The food there is very

expencive. Breakfest cost me $ 7.00 for 2 eggs 3 sasuage links toast

and hashbrowns. Back home I pay $ 1.99 for the same thing. My soda

cost $.99 for a 20oz bottle.

Dont want to turn you off but just want to let you know What you are

in for. There are cheeper hotel's but you will have to pay for

transportation to the clinic that sits off from the hospital. I could

look up the name of the site. If you do decide to go I would like to

know if they could help you. Please let me know.

My email address is usmiller@...

Hope it helps
