Guest guest
Wow Barbara. It's so nice to hear of the caring people in the world. I just want to share with all of you something that was just "given " to me. I saw my regular doctor last week, a wonderfully gifted doctor and an incredibly compassionate human being. At our appointment, I gave him a small poem that I had found and had been using for the private meditations that I use as a way of coping with the struggles in my life. In turn, he gave it to one of the nurses who had been a close friend of his for 15 years and without disclosing my name, told her a bit about how things of late have been for me. She asked for him to contact me so that I would give permission for her to contact me... She is also into meditation and holistic healing as an adjunct to traditional medicine. I, of course, agreed. Well, she called me this evening and not only offered four sessions but will drive over an hour to my home. She has refused to accept payment and said that she thought the time together would be as much a gift to her as it would be a gift to me. I am blessed and heartened by the inherent good in people.
