Guest guest
Yes, Dr Bernstein discusses " carbs " in foods " a lot " !!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Okay - found it. Thank you. My only question now is that this one is the 1st edition - anyone know if the 2nd edition is that much different and worth paying the extra? I don't want to miss anything important - lol. Does he discuss carbs and foods in this book or do I have to buy the food one too? Sandy
Guest guest
Okay - thanks ;o) I've pretty much got a handle on the right foods but perhaps there are some out there I can eat that I haven't found yet - lol. My problem is vegees - I like cauliflower (new to me but now love it now and eat it every day for lunch), broccoli, gr. beans - so I alternate those 3 between lunch/dinner and days and it does get sorta boring. I love peas but guess I can't eat a lot of those as they have a lot of natural sugar? Too bad as I could eat bowls of peas! And I eat those baby carrots raw without any raise in BS that I've noticed. Guest guest
I haven't done an exact comparison of the two, but I've read them both. The more recent edition includes more on the newer insulins, if I remember correctly. But the " meat " of the book is basically the same.
