Guest guest
- Sometimes when a person asks for advice they receive many responses......I know that I too have had a zillion times when I have received no response or thank you after I have taken great time and effort to think through, word, and somehow type one-handed what I hoped would be helpful. Reflecting back, I can remember feeling hurt by the lack of response....and I wasn't even a "new" member! With a bit of time, I came to realize that if each person said "thanks" for each kind thought, every insightful advice, that we would have an insurmountable amount of email to go through. It took a bit to "suck it up," not take it personally and move on. I'm really glad that you stepped forward and expressed how it had effected you. It seems that you're starting to feel a bit better about things....remember to keep talking. Even if you don't always get a response, people are listening. Okay, now, gang. I need some reassurance right now, this very second. Is it my imagination or have we had an overwhleming amount of email here lately. It is an extremely rare occasion that I delete a message but, dang, I'm getting awful darn close. Please someone tell me that it isn't just me !
