Does she eat any seafood? Or do you since you are breastfeeding?

My NT daughter had high mercury in hair when she was 8 mo and also

met one counting rules. I gave her a little bit of zinc, selenium,

and omega 3. One year later, no more mercury (but I also stopped

completely eating seafood), and she does not meet the counting rules

anymore. She still requires special diet and has gut bugs.. She is

still breastfed. And she is still NT at 26 mo...

Look into supplementing and watching for allergies and yeast/bacteria.

Hi Margaret,

I'm not so good in english, but same you I have a 4yo son autist and his

younger sister non vaccinated, normal... Thats why I have decided to

write for you. My son who has autism never showed that high mercury in

his hair, but his sister has high mercury... My son's doctor DO, says is

normal to be like this: because an autist child stocks the heavy metals

and eliminates almost zero of them, and a normal person is normal to

shows on tests that has high mercury in hair or urine, cause all normal

persons eliminate mercury and other bad metals. I hope you'll understand

me, I'm italian so my english isn't so good. I wish you all the best in

the world for your kids.

[ ] Got my baby's hair test: I don't know what to

think

Hi everybody,

I just got the hair test for my 17months old baby. She is not

vaccinated, eats mostly organic food, sleeps on organic mattress and

so far we did not notice any signs of autism. She is breastfed, and

I do not have currently any amalgams as I removed my 4 amalgams

about a year before conception. She has high mercury (1.9), lead,

antimony, aluminum and everything we can imagine, so her total toxic

representation is the end of the red zone. She meets counting rules

(4 essential elements are in red). My son who has autism never met

counting rules and never showed that high mercury in his hair. The

highest mercury level which showed up in his hair after very long

chelation was 0.54. I am scared that my baby is heavy metal

poisoned, but at the same time I start thinking that the hair tests

do not show anything, as my son's symptoms are worse but his hair

test is better.

I appreciate your thoughts.

Margaret

Hello ,

thank you for your reply. No, she does not eat any seafood or fish,

and I don't eat them either. I have no idea where all this mercury

and lead is coming from. May be from me? My hair test did not show

anything, but who knows. I still breastfeed, but only once a day

before sleep, and I don't have much milk any more. I am wondering if

I should stop breastfeeding. I give her Coromega, without it she

does not talk. I am going to add some zinc. What form of selenium do

you give? I would give some if I find a form which tastes ok. I

don't know about gut bugs, her stools are sometimes messy but I

don't see any bad symptoms in behavior.

Thank you,

Margaret

Dear ,

thank you, I also thought about this, and still I can't understand

where she takes all those bad metals. Thank you, and all the best to

you and your kids.

You know that in Amy Holmes' baby hair study, the autistic children's

hair had little or no mercury, and the NT children had plenty. Perhaps

she is excreting her environmental exposure appropriately....?

But what about the other metals that she is high in? and she meets

the counting rules. Did you do the test with Doctor's Data? Do you

live somewhere very polluted? Did you chelate after removing

amalgams? If so, how long did you stop chelating before becoming

pregnant? Do you think you might have continued to release metals

from your own body? I don't mean to scare you. You already sound

scared. I think the most important thing is that she does not show

signs now and that you are not vaccinating her. I don't think she can

regress if you are not. I think some believe that these tests can

show false readings at times. Maybe someone else can comment.

Best wishes for you and your little ones,

Hope

Which means that the other metals do not accurately reflect body

inventory and have to be interpreted with great caution.

When mineral transport is deranged the readings for the other elements

are in fact " false readings. " That is pretty much by definition what

deranged mineral transport means.

When mineral transport is deranged you know there is a mercury problem,

but whether the other elements are problems is much less clear.

And some kids show VERY HIGH levels who are very poisoned and

profoundly disabled.

Thank you very much for your replies. We do not live in a polluted

place. We are in San Diego, not far fromthe ocean, and the air seems

to be good here. I removed my amalgams about one year before

conception and did not chelate. I know I have to stop breastfeeding

but it's very hard, I don't feed her during the day but she does not

fall asleep at night without breast milk, so I still feed her once a

day. She does not show any signs of autism, is playing (even pretend

playing), pointing, communicating. I am concerned though because her

speech development slowed down, it seems that she even started

talking less than several months ago. She is 18 months now. I would

appreciate your advice about what to do. I give her zinc, cod liver

oil and a little selenium. Should I consider chelation for her (I am

thinking about giving her some DMPS)? Is it too early? At what age

is it safe to chelate?

Thank you,

Margaret

Well that definetely indicates issues.

I used Kirkman, just a pinch of the cap (1/10 of a cap). She never

complained too badly about the taste.

Once he was fully loaded, my son regressed with zinc and selenium, so

I removed them. Now he needs USRDA of both, and with the zinc, I have

to give it with USRDA of copper, to maintain the correct ratio.

I chelated my #4 at age 2-1/2. I used ALA.
