Guest guest
Barbara, Yep the kick butt is back!. Talked with reg. doc. and right now will not be tapering off oxy. as far as the neuro appt. doesn't think I can get in any earlier cause it's not an emergency even though I think it is and so does the doc. I find when I'm proactive in life that the depression lifts. I don't feel like a victim of the world around me. Does that make any sense. I hope so cuz all the $ I have put into therapy states that is one cause of my depression. Finally got out today, it's slightly warmer 0 degrees but nice and sunny. Seems like it's been a long week of cold and staying indoors. I call today's weather refreshing. Still have some errands to run and want to make Waldorf salad. Yummy for the tummy. Guest guest
Actually, it sounds like the therapy bucks paid off. A lot of times we get depressed when we feel helpless and without power over our lives. Sometimes there's nothing like a little anger to lighten a depression. Glad that your doc is easing off on the idea of discontinuing the meds until you've had the surgery....That makes more sense. Try to stay comfy. My assoc. pastor was always glad when she started to hear the "fight" in me because she knew I was on my way to getting better! I know my therapy bucks pay off, and am glad I won't be feeling guilty anymore for needing to do it since Tom was so concerned about me changing for financial reasons. Guess the thought of change was worth it just for that! Love, N.__________________________________________________
