I've been to L.A. and take it from a small town (1300 in the whole

township) driving there can be life before your eyes experience. I

can't imagine having a baby and driving L.A. at the same time. Your

mother must have stell in her veins. LOL Was it stick shift or

automatic....

Happy happy birthday ......

Wow, I better clarify. :-) My Dad was driving the (stick shift) car to the

hosptial. My mom mentioned that I was about to be born, hospital or not. My

Dad then speeded up the car - at which point one of LA's finest spotted the

speeder and tried to give my dad a speeding ticket. It was my first sweet words

that saved him from that fate. The officer peered into the car a little more

closely, (it was the middle of the night), to see what the noise was, and then

proceeded to put on the sirens. He led my parents, plus now me also, to the

emergency hospital which was not far away at that point.

Due to coming into the world this way, I of couse half expected to have my kids

born in the car too. The only one that came close was who was born

within the hour of arriving at the hosptial. The doctor didn't make it in time

but the resident did a great job of helping with the birth.

So, that's it. Plain and simple. Another exciting night on the streets of LA.

:-)

Thanks for the birthday wishes, !
