Guest guest
Hi everyone! Does anyone know if the flu shots recommended for 6-24 month old babies are mercury free? My sister-in-law took my 15 month old niece and they told her they were mercury free. I was under the impression that all of the flu shots had mercury. Guest guest
I heard that according to the box they come in, even the ones labeled 'preservative-free' have mercury in them. Guest guest
There are a small number of thimerisol-free shots available but they still contain " trace " amounts of mercury according to the packaging. How much a trace is I have not been able to find out. The vaccines are manufactured using mercury. -Sara.

Guest guest
From what I have read, the " preservative free fluzone " contains 1 microgram of mercury. I too have had a difficult time finding out much info this year on it. I've even tried looking on the aventis pasteur site, but as of a couple of weeks ago, couldn't find the ingredients list there.
