I just checked at amazon.com where they list it as " new or used for $6.00 and

up. Worth taking a

look.

Despite our best efforts, sometimes BGs do go up. It's not a failure on

our part; it's just the nature of diabetes, alas.

Ted - the cheapest one I found was $15.00 used - if you happen to go there again

and see one for $6.00, please send the link~!

I thought of that and will keep an eye out. Will drink some extra baking soda

and water. I swear by this - haven't been sick in years keeping my body

alkaline (well, aside from diabetes!!) I have also been a little down in the

dumps so maybe that has something to do with it. I need spring and sunshine I

think!

Sandy,

If your BG numbers are up the last couple days, you might watch to

see if you are getting sick. Mine are up this week due to an UR

virus. Mine went up BEFORE I knew I was sick. So, it might not be a

D&E issue. Just a thought.
