I have had several exercise bikes over the years - I love the one I have now -

it is quiet, sturdy and has " handle bars " for movement of the arms if you like

that feature - or don't use it if you don't. Has all the readings (calories,

miles, timer, etc too) It is an " Edge 386 Magnetic " - can't remember what it

costs - think around $200 which sounds steep but it was worth it. I bought it

many years ago so they probably have better ones out now. All the others I had

were so dang noisy I couldn't stand them.

Could you tell me what brand and model you have? I'd like to get one but

boy, some of them are really expensive! I've been trying to do some

research on brands and features and cost, but there's nothing like hearing

directly from someone who uses one.

Ha, Sandy!!! I saw some listed at the top at some Consumer's site and they

ran $2500!!!! Sheesh!! $200 is more my speed. I'll have to find a website

that tells about the Edge bike. I'd want to have it delivered 'cause I

can't see myself carrying one to a car and then to my apartment. Thanks for

the information!

Thanks, Sandy. I'd done some looking around, too, and found several places

that sell it. I might try to find a store that carries it....
