I want to welcome you to this grp. You have found a wealth of information and support here. Sit back relax this is a warm fuzzy place.

I'm Laurie and have had RSD for 8 years but was only diagnosed this last spring. It's in my legs,and,scalp. My legs turn the blotchy red to purple. They usually feel real cold to the extreme then go to burning searing pain. I'm on duragesic patches and dilaudid for the pain. I also have spasms that are treated with Baclofen. With the depression this all causes I'm on antidepressants. That's about all the info without writing a novel.

Some of your symptoms sound like RSD but I'm no doc. So the best is to stick with doctor that can manage pain and also find out what you have. RSD can be treated in the early stages.
