Dear G.

I have been on Neurontin for 3.5 years. I went off of it for 2 months and during that time I found just how much it worked on the burning pain that I have in my neck and shoulders - the original site of my RSD. It was the only time that I was unconsolable, and untreatable painwise - even with my other pain meds. I was put on this drug for seizures, along with Topamax.

I am interested to know why you feel that Neurontin is as you say a "p=iss poor" at best remedy for partial seizures.

As far as the lawsuit goes - yes, it kind of happened that way - although testing was underway for the other "not as yet approved" by the FDA, and now approved by the FDA reasons for prescribing Neurontin - such as for pain control, as the original reason for Neurontin was as an adjunct medication for seizures.

I would be very interested in reading all of the data in regards to the neurontin lawsuits, as I am sure that there is much other data to consider other than an otherwise mentally healthy stable adult taking neurontin commiting suicide - if I am wrong, I would love to be corrected. But, in most cases there are certainly some extenuating circumstances.

I'd love to discuss this further with you, especially about the seizure control and how you came to find out this information in particular.

Thank you for your time in regards to this, hope you are having a great day, where ever it is in the USA that you are from.

Best to you and yours, Faye

Dear Faye,

I'm sure everyone in this large group knows the 430 million dollar

lawsuit against the manufacturer of Neurontin for "fraud" meaning

it has never been FDA approved for pain, bipolar disorder, and

literally the sales people were PHD meaning they'd head out to

"your physician" introducing themselves as "Dr. X" and sell this

line of bull for those in pain.

At best Neurontin is approved for "partial seizures" and a

p=iss poor remedy for those at that...

Hugs,
