Titer question

I know this is OT for a mercury list, but I'm not getting any

answers from my other sources on this. I'm hoping Andy especially

may have insight from a different perspective.

My sons titers retested a few weeks ago and are now more than double

what they were a year ago. The labs used were LabOne and LabCorp. Of

course the obvious is 2 labs and variations in proceedures. However

the reference ranges are the same. Is titer testing not standard and

is there a variation that would cause more than double the result a

year later and after Vit A therapy? Rubella is particularly shocking

having been recorded at 121 last year and this year is 250.

We have done no further vaccinations. Last MMR was done at 13 months

of age and he is now 4. I know of no exposures. Is it possible that

Vitamin A therapy pulled the virus out of hiding? and we need to do

more? Do it possibly cause a reinfection? Is this all lab to lab

related?

Then my guess would be the high dose vitamin A protocol did not

" take " . I had to do it twice, the second time at higher dose plus

OLE, before it worked for my son.

It was a lot of trial and error to find what my son needed. I have

FINALLY found it tho, and right now his biggest problem is he wants to

hug me all day long, with a big smile and lots of kisses, and say " I

love you " and demand that I say it back to him and give him lots of

kisses, so it is hard to get anything done around here.

Good luck.
