Hello Friend,

So very sorry that I have not had the chance to call you, but things have been crazy and I am so exhausted! I have to go to a wake with Mom tomorrow afternoon and then to a friends house to exchange gifts! Do you remember the game Light Brite when we were kids? Mom bought it for a friends granddaughter. We are going to give it to her tomorrow. My little brothers best friend was at my Mom's today with his twins, a boy and a girl. They loved listening to my Mom telling them stories about there Dad when he was young. They also got a kick out of my Mom's birds and want to come back and see them tomorrow. They are so darn cute. They will be seven years old Feb. 8th the day before my brothers birthday. If Teddy was still alive he would have definitely been the God Father. It is so nice to still have his best friend come and be a part of the family. He will always be. His wife is also so very nice.

Christmas was great and I was spoiled wrotten. My sister bought me a Christmas Ornament that says Mom likes me Best! Well I thought that was histerical considering I bought her chapstick that says I am the Queen on it. I guess you can tell by our Christmas Gifts how well we have always gotten along. I just know that Mom shook her head and laughed at the both of us. Kellie bought me a quilt that I put on my bed today and it is Gorgeous!!! I just love it so much, because it has that French Country look that I love so much. It has all different shades of purple and sage greens. They are my absolute favorite colors along with yellow. I will fill you in on everything else when we talk.

The one gift that I got today was very strange and still have no idea who it was from! I went to go to my Moms house today and put the dog in the car. I went to sit down and looked at my seat and there on the seat was a bottle of red wine. I usually do not lock my car, so anyone could have gotten in. I just do not know why someone would not knock on my door, rather open the car and put it on the front seat without a note or a phone call. Maybe I have a secret admirer! I hope he has money and he is good looking! I know he has good taste in wine, it's just to bad that I cannot drink it. I guess Mom will get another gift or I will save it for company.

Anyhow, I had a completely amazing day and Mom said it was her best Christmas ever! We had dinner at her house Christmas night and we played some of the games I bought her for Christmas and had so much fun. Our favorite is a game called I Spy. If you ever want something new, try that one you will really enjoy it! It is better with less people.

I cannot wait to here what Santa bought you. I hope the kids had a great time and Marie was okay and treated you well! I am sure that ie had a blast. Well I will try and give you a call in the morning (not to early) before I go to the wake. I have to leave here around 1pm, so I will try and call about 10 or 11 if I am up. If not will try and give you a call in the evening when I get home. I hope that your hand is okay and not to swollen and your pain is under control.
