Questions on metal taste in mouth and contact lens solution

1. My husband is saying he has a metal taste in his mouth now for instance

tonight when he changed our son's diaper, is there some sort of reaction to

the TD DMPS he might be having? He had a dose at 3pm, and my husband changed

the diaper around 7-8pm tonight.

2. if a contact solution doesn't say thermisol on the ingredients does that

mean its not in there, or is there another word I should look for? I saw

some listed on the nomercury.org site and want to start making sure we are

taking out as much mercury from the home as possible, especially with

products that can be easily replaced. My husband uses Bauch & Laumb No Rinse

for soft lenses, I use Ciba Vision one step for both soft and RGP. I don't

see thermisol listed in the ingredients list.
