Guest guest
Hello , just saw this and sure glad you are not trying to get here today or tomorrow as we are having sleet, snow and lots of it and not sure when we will get out of here to s. Plan to leave in morning just will keep praying road stays or becomes clear by noon so can head out. said that Houston is expecting snow on Christmas Eve......gee, seems that things with weather happen so often on holidays. Anyway, sorry have not called or done a thing as of late and all on here. I have a overflowing load and struggling with lack of ability or desire to give thought to any of struggles. Have tucked them away without knowing was doing that, but know have done this and each item added have given some thought and pulled away and stopped any further doctor/treatments and other things. please do not think I am not up to your being here. I look forward so much to your being here. Tom is so wonderful on phone and know he will just be so nice to be with. Don't forget the dominoes as we have none. Will have Texas cake ready and best like chocolate. Now just have to move all the things out of the spare bedroom and put it in living room or kitchen and either move kitchen table out of living room to kitchen or leave in living room. Now does this all sound just tad bit weird....gee, sort of like a maze here. Well all on here pray your safe and families. For me will be Celebrating Christ's Birth and so look forward to being with kids and grandkids and then and Tom. Next 10 days are going to be filled with lots of laughter and joy. Take care all and please forgive my neglect these months and for those new, it would be normal to see me writing at least 4 times a week, hope to get to know all those new and pray all those new that each of you have and/or find great doctors, have good family/friend support and enjoy the family here on digest. Hugs to all. , will call you Sunday or Monday. Just can hardly wait to meet you and Tom!!!! Guest guest
JoAnn, They had those yummy cookies that you make on sale for $1.77 so we got some tonight. Mmmm! We got the turtle kind and peanut butter cup. Tom loves chocolate so need to worry there! I like it too. I might bring some homemade caramels. Do you like them? Had a very sweet little girl here from 11a.m. to 5:30. She'll be two in Feb. When she was ready to leave said "Merry Christmas!" She has a fantastic vocabulary and you can understand it. e will answer in complete sentences. I took a nap with her. e loves to read so got her a couple books for Christmas. She really liked the one about the cats going to a doctor appointment. Later in the day she could tell me that the elephant was the doctor, and knew the girl, Allie. She was still working on Tom, the other cat. The pictures were so colorful and cute. I got her a book about Jesus feeding the crowd with the bread and fish. She was holding it later and said "Bible." She recognizes Jesus as God's Word! It has flaps that you lift up, like the basket lid to see the bread/fish. Bet you can't tell I adore her! I had some caramels in a bag for mom to take with her shopping. She loved them. I had a small bag filled with them and sent them home with her. is having a very hard time making them to come out okay. She's going to have me come some afternoon so I can help judge the consistency. I made some yesterday and they came out perfect. They don't always turn out that way! Dawn, the assoc. pastor likes them so am giving her some for Christmas along with some other things. I found another Selah CD the other night. It has a song "Press On" that is absolutely beautiful. I'm going to bring it with me for you to hear. I sure do like that group! It's a brother/sister and a piano player. There parents are missionaries in Africa so they were there as children. They always have at least one song in the African dialect they learned. Tomorrow will be busy. Getting a hair cut, taking Dawn's gift to her, get prescriptions filled, and in the afternoon I'm going with a friend to get a cancer taken off her skin. Fri. I'll get some of the breakfast stuff ready. Praying you'll have a safe trip down to Texas and thoroughly enjoy your time with family. Love, N.__________________________________________________
Guest guest
Well sounds like you had great time with the little girls. Whose are they , were you at church as either you said in note or I am suppose to know and the knowing slipped into another brain door and slammed shut, so heck if I can figure out who the kids belong to. But think it is great having kids to read to and watch their faces as they enjoy the story and especially the pop-up books. As far a caramels go, buy the large bags of them for many, many, years and do not recall ever eating them made fresh. Have eaten the caramel when doing apples but would not know how to make it into squares, or just what shape and size do you make them? So please bring them, lots of them, and may share few with you but do not put alot of expectation in that. Look forward to being with you and Tom. Bring p.j.'s and robe as you will find that when I am home, in pajamas and robe and do not change into sweats to be in house. Nope, when get up stay in p.j.'s and unless leave stay in them all day. Maybe after shower new pair, but love the softness of them and always buy them in large, although if were buying pants take 7 usually, but like pajamas to be so loose. So go buy some if don't have them, bring socks for feet, and I have blankets to put on you when play cards if you get cold easy. Will take you to couple of stores in town and if Tom likes that sure welcome to come, let him know if he likes to watch sports just do so, their is not pressure to do anything else but what you both want to. If want to sleep till noon, that is fine just know that at 12.01 send in the 3 cats and shut the bedroom door. But you still do whatever want. Will fry the chicken breasts in the Kentucky Fried Chicken Flour for you and have mashed potato's and either corn or peas or green beans. Nothing fancy for sure. Most likely have Pizza Hut pizza and bread sticks other night. Just remember those domino's. Well that is all, just drive safe please and pray for us as we try to get out tomorrow morning, again. Have to get to kids as grandkids not to happy we are not their now so just have to have safe trip down and enjoy family and then come back to my kitty family and then my sister and brother from Illinois, and Tom. Yeah. Ya'll take care on here. Please be safe and know have you in my prayers. love JoAnn s Momma Re: trip/from JoAnn...about trip JoAnn, They had those yummy cookies that you make on sale for $1.77 so we got some tonight. Mmmm!
