Hi Dawn,

WE have the two adopted Grey Hounds. They require plenty of couch time as they are true couch potatoes! As for exercise, well they really do love to run, especially in circles, but a lot of property is not needed. A fence is though, I know some adoptions places will not let you have a Grey Hound if you don't have a good fence as they see, as they are sight hounds, something to chase and are gone if there is not a fence or person to stop them.

They don't know about stairs or hills so need to learn but are very quick and so very sweet natured.

Here is a picture of Annie, she was imported from Ireland to end up in an animal shelter by two year of age! What a waste of a beautiful dog that would have been. She was scheduled to be put down the day I adopted her. Here she is with Amelia lending her some sympathy as she recuperates from surgery. This should answer the question of Grey Hounds getting along with cats!

What a wonderful picture, they match!! I didn't know that someplaces require a fence, learn something new everyday. How does yours deal with the cold? I know my friends would be walking their greyhound and it had a pretty sweater on. As I am writing this I have all 3 of my cats on the bed with me, all are in their proper order, Tom the eldest is right beside me, Pierre is on the bed by me feet and Pippin, the baby is on my blanket raiser.

I am sorry that you have been having some pain problems. I actually had a good pain day yesterday my pain was around a 6 most of the day. Not so lucky today, oh well such is life;

Mom is on her way over now and that picture will bring tears to her eye's, because just yesterday she asked me to look up a greyhound rescue sight for her! She loves them and said that if she was ever to get another dog it would definitely be a greyhound, so you see we already have something in common! I am so glad you rescued Annie, because she deserves to have a great life with a great family!!!! This picture will make my Mom's Christmas and I thank you so much for it! I am going to print it for her, because I know she will ask me to as soon as she see's it! Well still waiting for Mom and I am going to have a refill on the coffee before she gets here! Merry Christmas and LOL always to you and your family including all your furry friends!!!!!!!
