Guest guest
Darn, Barbara! After I spent HOURS making fudge! Yeesh! I am so bad. I keep telling myself I will only make a little bit, but wind up with 5 lbs. or so! I gave most of it away, the kids took it to work, etc. and shared with their coworkers. Guest guest
ROFL! That is soooo awesome. I think I may have to make a run to Walmart and make some for work and our annual Christmas Eve get together at the inlaws! HUGS Donna > Sooooooooooo. If you want to make fudge? Go to Walmart. Love ya ! Barbara
Guest guest
Donna - I just found this recipe on-line that sounds like the same thing although I know I added 1 or 2 tablespoons of butter to it, I think.....and of course the nuts. Also the pan in the box was smaller than the size called for in this recipe. Of course, there still is WalMart and I think I saw it at Stop and Shop in the baking aisle. Enjoy. Barbara Concentrated Decadence (Microwave Fudge) 18 oz. (1-1/2 bags) chocolate chips 1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 tsp vanilla Mix all the ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave for another minute. Stir. If it is smooth, then skip to the next paragraph. If it is not, microwave for another 15-20 seconds and stir again. Spread into a 9x9" or comparable sized baking pan. Cover and refrigerate an hour. Remove from the refrigerator and cut into desired-size pieces. Return to the refrigerator until you are ready to eat. Guest guest
heres the recipe: Saltine crackers 2 sticks of butter 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 bags choc. chips chopped nuts preheat oven to 350 and line cookie sheet with aluminum foil then use grease with either butter or spray. Line cookie sheet with saltine crackers. take sugar and butter and melt on stove until foamy, take the combination and spread evenly over crackers and bake in the oven for 5 minutes. spread chocolate chips over cracker/butter/sugar combo and let melt. then spread chopped nuts over entire mixture. *I put it into the refridgerator to have it for dessert last night but you dont have to, you can let it sit. Enjoy Donna > Uh oh, Donna.....looks like my waist line might be headed for trouble....course i'd have to find a way to make the fuge into a smoothie but heck, I'm creative. Guest guest
Saltine crackers?!?!?!? It looks a lot like the recipe that I saw except for the crackers part. I'll have to give it a try.
