Guest guest
Hi Friends, I was able to speak with Martha this morning. She is in great spirits for being in the hospital over the Holiday's. Dr. Bolognese is doing non invasive traction for her and she is getting relief from that. It sounds like she will be a good candidate for a craniocervical fusion. They will be doing an VP shunt on Friday for her because of increased intracranial pressure. They are taking things one step at a time because her case is so complicated. She is totally bed ridden because she passes out when she sits or stands. If anyone is headed to North Shore, could you take a peak in on her? She said she would love some company. Martha is a very strong lady and has faith that she will leave the hospital feeling so much better. It is just a long process.
