Guest guest Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 Hey All... I know I haven't been around for a while. Life has been keeping me really busy. I am now down over a 150 pounds. I have passed my Doctors goal of 145. I am now 143 and thinking I would like to get to 130 but if my body stays where I'm at I would be happy. I went to see the plastic surgeon a few weeks back and he wants me to wait a few more months because I'm not even a year out yet. January 24 will be my one year mark. My labs are good but with being short at work and the holidays my excercise could be better. I think we need to be doing a protein train through the new year so we can encourage each other to enjoy the holidays WLS style. Anyway I wanted to share a protein tip I picked up on one of the message boards somewhere. Go to Walmart and buy some sugar free Alpine apple cider. I bought mine at the Comissary here in Kaiserslautern. You should be able to find it in the coffee isle or near the hot chocolate. You open the little packet and heat some water (not to boiling point) Mix in the cider and a scoop of vanilla protein. You can also add a little of cinimon of vanilla extract or vanilla sugar free syrup. I did this earlier this morning and it taste heavenly... Well I'm off to mail my secret santa gift and some other gifts home so I can make the holiday cut off delivery date.
