Guest guest Posted September 29, 2002 Report Share Posted September 29, 2002 Hi, I was recently diagnosed with acute anxiety.I go back to see my Neuro on this coming tuesday the 1st. What I wanted to know if any of you have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder? I am 1 1/2 yeaars post op.I had a c1 lamenectomy and decompression for Chiari 1. I have a cyst from C2 to T7. I have been doing pretty well since my surgery and then about a month ago I had a major anxiety attack at work and had to go to the E.R. I have been taking xanax as my meds. When I have an anxiety attack I also get a burning sensation down my the middle of my back. I have also started getting some sharp pains in the right side of my headthat come and go.
