Hello,

I am new to the group. We have a 18 year old daughter with BPD

traits. She just turned 18 last week. We finally got the diagnosis after 4

years of helhavoc, 6

Suicidal attempts and too many hospitalizations to count. We

have gone through her running away, stealing and lying. Thankfully, she has

not been in the

Hospital since Novemember and has been participating in DBT and

trying to take an active part in her healing. She takes many medications

for her depression

And psychotic tendencies. I am a firm believer in the

medications it's all that has ever taken the edge off. We also have a 15

year old that was adopted at 26

Months when our bio child was 5. He has reactive attachment

disorder and ADHD to name a few of his diagnosis. My hubby which I love

dearly and is very

Supportive but has bi polar. So without saying it most can tell

I am usually stressed to the max. I am looking forward to the support of

people that understand
