I was told to expect a long process!

And yet here it's only been 3 months and today I got my surgery date

which will be Jan. 8th! It happened so fast! I want this and have

made up my mind but I haven't really wrapped my head around it and I

thought that I would have more time to wrap my head slowly around it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely excited and in no way am I even

considering changing the surgery date. I guess I was just taken by

surprise today. Has anyone else ever gotten through the process so

quickly?

Mine took from Oct 2nd-first doctor appt. until Oct.

31st-my surgery date. All appts. and tests were done

in this 29 day period. And I live 4 hours away from

the doc and hospital. So my head was spinning when I

got done. I have done well and now have lost 63 1/2

lbs. in 7 weeks.
