Guest guest
WOW I have been studying THIS end of thyroid for a good many years too, and I have found the standard tests vets run on dogs and cats to be as unreliable as our own lovely TSH test. I have heard of several dogs that tested as low thyroid that actually weren't and many that tested as normal that responded well to thyroid treatment. I think a trial run on thyroid meds would not hurt anything, and if he responds, he is hypo, no matter what the tests shoe. What are his symptoms that you took him to the vet for? *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes?
