Initial results of Gastroscopy

Another step in trying to find the cause of my night-time episodes

(fainting, abdominal pain etc) was having a gastroscopy. Well they found

some inflammation and took a biopsy (have to wait for the results) but

Celiacs Disease was mentioned as a possibility. I'm not sure how I feel

about that at the moment....my gut feeling (pardon the pun) is it probably

is the cause as I have autoimmune thyroid disease and there is a strong link

plus I have the skin lesions too (never been linked before)....oh poo

The positive part is if it is Celiacs then decompression surgery won't help

and as my other Chiari symptoms are tolerable at the moment I don't need to

go down that route for a while.
