We've missed you! But I know you needed this time. Especially w/ the

holidays and dealing w/ your mother's death. Believe me I know. i

wanted to pretty much skip the holiday this year as well w/ my dad

passing away a week before Christmas. I think it made it a bit easier

that he just thought of Christmas as another day. What bothered me the

most was when I took my 6 mos pics I couldn't email them to him. That's

when it hit me. :-( I'll miss my emails from him. I would go a few

days w/out emailing him & he'd email me 1 sentence: " Is your finger

broke? " LOL!

You simply have to make time to take care of yourself. I believe it was

Mike in GR that said he had to learn how to be selfish. You are the

only one who can take care of you. You have to make time to do that.

Keeping good food choices on hand helps w/ that. A variety of protein

shakes. Light string cheese. Light yogurt. Deli meats. Healthy

choice/lean cuisine/etc. Fresh veggies & fruits. Don't let not having

time be an excuse. You have to take care of yourself or you will fall

back into old habits. You've come too far baby! You can't do that to

yourself.

My mom owns the property where my dad lived. Now that he's passed it

will be sold. I get half. There are 3 things I'll be doing w/ the $$

when I get my half. #1 is paying my mom back for loaning me the $$ for

the surgery. #2 is I'm getting myself a gym membership. Those are the

2 most important things to me. There are tons of bills I could pay w/

that $$; but I have to be selfish w/ some of it & use it for ME!!!

Anything left over after those 2 things will go to bills & savings.

We miss you!!! But you have to take time for you! We'll always be here

for you!

their weight loss and did great through the holiday with their families. We are

on our way to a new year and to so many new opportunities and for some of us

some wonderfully new ones since the weight loss.

> I would first like to apologize that as a Moderator I have not really been

on like I need to be, so I am sorry to Robyn and . You have all been such

wonderful friends to me and I say thanks for you more often then you all know.

It really shows when I do not come here to give and recieve support. I just want

to say THANK YOU and thank you and Robyn for being patient with me.

which will probably be most of the board. I have been dealing with many things

going on in my life from my school work, my children school and homework, my

kids activities, my own social life (WHEN i have one lol), etc... I am sure you

know where I am going on this, how the heck do you balance it all and take care

of yourself? I am having an EXSTREMELY difficult time with this.

going to get me a good planner and do my damndest to set a schedule. It is hard

to break old habits I tell ya. Any other ideas of how to organize your life and

take care of yourself? All is appreciated!!

> Many of you know me and what I have on my plate since my mother's death,

this last 2 months have been my time finally facing that death and the Holidays.

With my focus on me mentally, I have had to set aside my physical side. I just

have not been focused at all. It's hard when there is so much. Well, I had the

best holiday's yet since my mother's death, so thank you for those who inquired

about me. I just wanted to focus on my kids this year and that is part of the

reason I have not focused on me. I don't regret it and my kids are happier then

ever and so am I. Everything is starting to fall into place for me.

my schooling is done online because this last 2 weeks vacation I got from

school, left me wanting to just stay off the computer and focus again on my

family.

> Anyways, I was wondering how everyone is doing and how they plan on going

into the new year, I will be reading as many posts as I can today for the last

week. I know I have missed much, but I will do my best to stay on track here on

out. You guys are busy bodies here LOL!. Glad to see it though. This is a

fantastic group.
