Good morning everyone! I am back on the list and doing well 4 1/2 weeks

after surgery.

I am driving again (was allowed to start 2 weeks post-op), even back on the

freeway! (Didn't mean to start that as early as I did but my son had an

emergency appt. with an eye specialist, to remove a splinter from his eye,

and I had no choice but to take the freeway).

I am up & about most of the day now. Still have alot of neck

pain/stiffness, but expect that to go away as I heal.

The headaches are gone for the most part.

Have most of my side-to-side mobility back now. I still have problems

looking up & down, and can't bend forward yet (have to just squat).

I still have all of the weight restrictions, but that's okay. Get's me out

of doing housework!

The only medication I am on is ibuprofen (and only occassionally).

Immediately following surgery I had alot of pain that made me think it

wasn't worth it. I felt worse than I did before I went in. But now that I

am on the road to recovery I think it was definitely worth it. I feel 100

times better now than I did the first two weeks following surgery. I'd say

that I feel better than I did before surgery but the neck pain is still

something new to me. But just knowing that the problems have been corrected

& alot of the risks I would have had are now gone makes it all worth it.

Well, I guess I have made this long enough! :-)

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
