Guest guest
Dear Friends, My husband will be laid off from his job as of Friday. This is the second time with in a year. Last November he was laid off from a job he had held for 16 years. This job lasted 6 months. It took 5 months of searching to get it. I am not working, and am in the application process for SSDI. I have had my medical evaluation, so my decision should be coming soon. So, once again, we will have to pay for our health insurance through COBRA. We certainly can not afford to let it go. My husband and I are very discouraged right now. We were just starting to catch up financially from the last layoff. But this month had extra expenses...car repairs, water heater, and my trip to Mississippi. You know, the usual stuff that just happens to come along at the " wrong " time. Sorry to whine, I know that I am not the only one in financial difficulties. Finding a job in the 4th qtr of the year, particularly in manufacturing ( my husband is a tooling engineer) is so hard. I am so tense...its making my head hurt. I guess I will ask my doctor about increasing my Celexa. Thanks for listening...
