Guest guest
Andy, I have heard mention before about the " thyroid-mercury connection'...forget where. For Hg toxic adults is it likely that a lifetime of undiagnosed low thyroid has a lot to do with the body holding on to and not properly detoxing mercury in the first place? ~Inga ============ on 12/7/04 1:09 AM, andrewhallcutler at AndyCutler@... wrote: > > > Please, if you really want to be sure I answer something, send me the > post number privately (please do not all do this! ;-) I ran across this > by chance. > > What you have below is about half accurate information and half very > inaccurate and misleading information. Guest guest
My understanding is that the mercury causes the thyroid to stop working properly. Guest guest
YES....yes...I understand that, but I have also heard that low thyroid makes the mercury so itt cannot detox. Sort of a viscious circle, I guess. I am just trying to puece my health and ill health together...sort of a " which came first - the chicken or the egg " attempt. Mom had untreated thyroid problems ...Ithink he heart failure was from it....who knows about the Hg she may have had.... ~Inga > > > My understanding is that the mercury causes the thyroid to stop working > properly. > S > > > > > > Andy,
> I have heard mention before about the " thyroid-mercury > connection'...forget
> where.
>
> For Hg toxic adults is it likely that a lifetime of undiagnosed low > thyroid
> has a lot to do with the body holding on to and not properly detoxing
> mercury in the first place?
>
> ~Inga
>
Guest guest
Andy. My sex drive recntly went out the window. Can't seem to get my thyroid up where I need it, at least according to body temperatures..afraid to take too much (up to 3 1/2 grains) Should I consider testosterone (for women)? Or would pregnenolone be a better idea, becasue I also think my cortisol is too low. I have not taken any cortisol because I am afraid of more wieght gain (already 80+ over) ~Inga > > > >>> I started testosterone replacement in early 1998.
>>>
>>> I did not chelate until later in 1998.
>>>
>>> All of the positive effects of the thyroid and testosterone > were
>>> realized before I chelated, and the beneficial effects of > chelation
>>> were clearly linked to the chelation and not to anything that > is
>>> relevant to what the hormeons do. > > > Andy....once you chelated did you need to continue the > testosterone,Dhea and thyroid supplements.. > >> > > > > > > > ======================================================= >
