Don't let them tell you BPD is incurable! Don't let them tell you that people

with it will never function! Our daughter, 21, is now working in a hotel

supporting her studies in an interior decorating course. She's doing

beautifully, handling it all. Staying busy helps her deal with the ups and

downs of the disorder. She isn't cured. She just doesn't allow time for

herself to wallow in it. She's not taxing herself too much, just being busy

most of the time. Her class was told to come up with ideas that are as original

as possible. She got the award. She's now apartment hunting too in a very

systematic and reaonable way. We had some terrible years - but she's getting it

together. Trust, patience and love. Let time take its course. Doreen
