Guest guest
Hi, Being new to this I will just jump right in. At 12 months I had my son evaluated for speech delays, and gagging and not chewing 100% He was eligible through our early intervention program. He is now 14 months and became increasingly wobbly. The ent cleared his ears, the neurologist sent him for an mri for my peace of mind. They found a chiari. 1cm into the fram magn. Went back to the neurologist, did not order any tests. Said it is nothing don't worry no follow up necessary. At this point his speech therapist agrees he is wobbly, has hypersensitivity of the face, an uncoordinated chew, gagging on some foods. When he gets angry he arches back and throws his head back usually hitting his head. I made an appointment with a Dr. Feldstein in Manhattan. If anyone has anyfeedback I would really appreciate it. My older son has sensory issues and fine motor problems. Thank You, Mgd
