Guest guest
Ok, who cries over losing so much weight that they have to buy new clothes? Isn't that what you wanted when you had this surgery? Man, almost sound like my husbands kids at Christmas, they want presents, but then complain when you buy them something (it's not the right thing...blah, blah, blah) I am actually glad to have that kind of problem. It does suck that I don't have lots of money to shop for new clothes though. I have clothes from all my yo yoing days. I was wearing a size 24 pants and I am now in 16's mostly whoooo hooooo. I have shirts in ever size known to man so I " re-shop " my closet. A couple years ago my Mom passed away and when we cleaned out her closets I knew I was going to have ( or I was working on) having the surgery done, so I kept alot of her things that I liked. She was a small woman and had some really nice things, but I have a ways to go to get in them yet. H. 288/200/145 5'6 " surgery 7/18/06 > > I had smashed my knee up Saturday evening. Guest guest
Okay, Guys & Gals, We will all cry over needing smaller clothes at one time or another. The solution I found was Thrift Stores and Yard Sales. I went to a yard sale a few weeks ago and got Ann Loft dresses straight from the cleaners with the plastic still on them for $1.00 each. Can you believe it? I have bought lots of designer brands from Salvation Army too. Another good place is relatives or friends who may have outgrown or gotten smaller. My aunt gave me 20 pairs of jeans/pants. So... cry but you know you are totally happy to need all the new sizes! It can be real expensive if you are buying stuff at full retail. I have had to replace clothes so many times. I started out at a 3X and I am now in a size 2 or 4!! I also had to replace nursing uniforms. Take Care everyone and happy shopping!!!!!!!!!! in CA __________________________________________________
