Kate had her surgery very late on Tuesday and stayed about 24 hours in ICU. We are now on the regular peds floor. Dr. B and Dr. M found that the shunt was blocked and they were able to remove the upper portion and replace it. She was doing well for about 12 hours and now she has a horrible headache with vomiting. They are planning to adjust the pressure on the shunt. There wasn't too much concern about things earlier today but now tonight she has a fever of about 102. Not sure what this all means but I am sure we will find out tomorrow.
