Guest guest
Hi there! I mentioned the face pain I've been having to my GP today & though it is not trigeminal neuralgia (sharp, knife-like pain) the pain is from the trigeminal tracts. I get it mostly on one side & it can sometimes be set off just by looking down. It is an intense, constant, nauseating aching that doesn't let up & can last from hours to days. My GP mentioned something about hindbrain dropping, cerebellar floor, etc. to cause irritation to this nerve. Anybody else heard of this? Any articles out there to this effect or the relationship between ACM & trigeminal nerve irritation? Can anybody shed any further light on this? Thanks for any help! Warmest regards, Sharon
